If you could do anything you wanted, what would you do?

It’s a loaded question to ask for sure. After all, the possibilities could be endless for anyone who believes they have an open opportunity in front of them. And it wouldn’t take long to begin diving into those hopes and dreams we’ve held in the recesses of our minds for years or maybe decades.

Unfortunately most people don’t dare to dream anymore.

Letting go of what you know to explore and grab hold of the unknown.

When we started talking about the idea of traveling full-time, I never really believed it could happen.

We had kids, a dog, a mortgage, and all the other responsibilities grown adults are “supposed” to have. Besides, people don’t actually live their dreams, they just buy the cool poster about those dreams. So Donetta and I settled for what we knew at the time which was just to accept things for the way they were.

Yet we just kept feeling called to live a life from the road.

Like some weird groaning in our souls crying for years to be let loose on an adventure of a lifetime, the calling could not be ignored. And it wasn’t until we started to let go of what we knew and began embracing the unknown that the dream would start to become a reality.

This isn’t to say it was easy or happened overnight. Far from it. But things would never have happened if we didn’t start with the question … if we could do anything.

Dreaming leads to desire and desire leads to action.

What do you want to do?

I really want you to take some time to ask yourself the same question. Think about all the possibilities and write them down. Or share your hopes and dreams in the comment section below and we’ll help you make progress. It’s extremely important to write it out because it moves you forward.

But remember this … don’t go with what you know but what you truly desire.

Dare to dream big or boldly. Explore the ideas no matter how crazy it might seem. Fantasize about how life will be when you achieve it. Then start embracing the unknown and believing it’s going to happen.

We’re always here to provide encouragement and support. Just ask for it.

So good a read I wanted more! If you could do anything... this was the same question I asked myself when the decision to become a nomad weighed heavy on me. Best move I’ve ever made!
